🇨🇦 Chexy, a platform that helps tenant tenants earn credit card rewards has raised $14 million Series A led by Khosla Ventures. They plan to expand to support more everyday expenses, including business payments.
🇨🇦 Carbon Upcycling, the Calgary-based cleantech startup that creates cement alternatives secured up to $10 million to fund a new commercial project in Mississauga.
Opendoor acquired Doma’s closing and escrow business in a bid to lower mortgage refinance costs.
Trimble acquired Document Crunch to add AI-powered risk management and document compliance to its ecosystem.
Meter acquired WiredScore to help landlords and tenants get better digital building performance and make best practices easier to adopt worldwide.
Alcatraz, which makes an AI-powered physical access control system that authenticates employees without collecting personal data, closed a $50 million Series B funding round.
Shepherd, a company offering AI-based insurance solutions for the commercial construction sector, has raised a $42 million Series B.
Trayd, a startup that is building a back office operating system for the construction industry, has raised a $10 million Series A.
