Our Canadian Pavilion

CREtech New York recap:

Last month, we teamed up with the Canadian Trade Commissioners to host the Canadian Pavilion, spotlighting Canada’s proptech innovators. Our Proptech in Canada Report and Proptech 30 Guide were our secret weapons for showing the world what Canada’s got!

Here are three takeaways:

  1. Canadians show up for Canadians: The Pavilion was buzzing! From proptech founders to Canadians now based in the U.S. — put up a flag, and Canadians appear.

  2. Plan your meetings early: CREtech launched its first Hosted Meeting Program, and the meeting area was packed. Like any big conference, the best conversations happen when you plan ahead — and in New York, that often means reaching out to local prospects and grabbing coffee (or cocktails) off-site.

  3. Surprise, surprise — it’s still all about AI: AI dominated the agenda, from smarter operations to the evolving role of agents. The difference this year? Slightly less hype, more real examples of how people are actually putting AI to work.

Companies are getting more selective about which proptech conferences to attend — and in some cases, focusing more on real estate or asset-class–specific events. With most proptech conferences now in Vegas, CREtech New York can still be a productive one if you make the most of the resources and your time in the city.

Got space? We’ve got events!

We’ve got big plans for 2026 — more in-person meetups, workshops, and socials from coast to coast. If your company has an office, lounge, or rooftop we could use for an event, partner with us!
