🥊 Programs For Founders

We’re excited to launch two new programs for our members this year! Applications are now open for the Proptech LaunchPad, and will soon be available for the Growth Summit.

Toronto Proptech LaunchPad (May to June, Toronto)

Supported by the City of Toronto, this program is designed for early-stage proptech entrepreneurs with an MVP or early product in Toronto. Over two months, participants will gain access to in-person workshops, mentorship, a networking dinner and social — all designed to provide the resources and connections needed to launch and grow a proptech business.

The deadline for applications is April 10, 2025.

Growth Summit (Mid July, Toronto)

Back by popular demand! This private dinner and half-day in-person conference is designed for ~30 growth-stage founders (Pre-Seed to Series A). Expect candid conversations with industry leaders, customers, and seasoned founders, all focused on the sales and growth playbook—tailored specifically for real estate. Registrations will be opening soon!

  • Startup en Residence Proptech Accelerator (Deadline: March 11)
    The Startup en Residence Accelerator is launching a call for proptech applications. Learn more and apply. You’ll get a chance to:

    • Claim one of three spots in the Startup en Residence program

    • Receive one of the three non-dilutive grants, up to $45,000

    • Be considered for an investment of up to $250,000

  • DMZ Centre for Housing Innovation Accelerator (Deadline: March 16)

  • FutureBUILDS BIPOC Real Estate Development Incubator (Deadline: March 26)

💰 Who Raised Capital

  • 🇨🇦 FCT x Fintracker: Title insurance and services provider FCT has acquired a majority interest in Fintracker, a specialist in identity verification and compliance technology for real estate transactions.

  • 🇺🇸 Keller Williams: Stone Point Capital, who has previously invested in estate companies like Lone Wolf Technologies, Homepoint, CoreLogic, and Meridian, is taking a significant stake in the company to accelerate growth and innovation.

  • 🇦🇺 PropHero: a Sydney-based real estate investment platform, has raised $25 million in Series A funding. Founded in 2021 by Mickael Roger, the company uses AI-driven technology to help investors find high-potential properties. PropHero, which manages over $1.2 billion in assets across multiple countries, serves 8,000 users in 40 countries.

  • 🇺🇸 HouseWhisper: Former Zillow executives Luis Poggi, Spencer Rascoff, and Alex Kutner have launched HouseWhisper, a startup using generative AI to assist real estate agents with administrative tasks. Based in Seattle, the company raised nearly $10 million in funding and aims to improve the agent experience by easing their workload.

  • 🇬🇧 Just Move: the UK-based startup has raised $8 million in Series A funding, led by Eos Ventures, to expand its home setup services. The company simplifies the process of securing utilities, credit, and insurance products, offering a single entry point for managing multiple services during home moves, and projects to handle over 400,000 moves in 2025.

  • 🇺🇸 MRI x Anacle: MRI Software has proposed to take private Singapore-based Anacle, a provider of digital workplace solutions and real estate asset management services in Asia. This will expand MRI's footprint in the APAC region.

  • 🇺🇸 Inspectify x Aloft: Inspectify has announced the acquisition of Aloft Appraisals, a leading real estate valuation technology platform. The two companies have collaborated on various initiatives, and this merger brings additional functionality to Inspectify’s inspection and underwriting platform.

  • 🇺🇸 Henry AI: an AI platform designed to automate commercial real estate transactions for brokers, raised $4.3 million in seed funding, co-led by Susa Ventures and 1Sharpe Ventures to help streamline manual tasks.

  • 🇺🇸 Uniti AI: the New York-based startup building an AI platform for commercial real estate operators, raised a $4 million seed round led by Prudence, with participation from Alate Partners, Flex Capital, Observer Capital, and RE Angels, to expand its sales agents and automate lead engagement across various communication channels.

  • 🇳🇴 Telescope: The Norwegian proptech startup has raised €3.7 million in seed funding to scale its platform, which helps real estate owners assess and manage sustainability and climate risks, enabling smarter investment decisions and compliance with growing regulatory demands.
